Introducing The Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar Ladies
In honour of Women's Month, I am so proud to introduce to you the most magnificent ladies who are so incredibly talented, entrepreneurial and the most beautiful souls. Mimi & Munch SA is very lucky to have them as part of the Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar team.
The Inspiration behind the Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar Concept
The Pupcake Bar was inspired by my best friend and beautiful sister Jenna who lives in Tel Aviv and saw the need for a pupcake wonderland! The opportunity for furfamilies to pick and choose from natural, fresh, human-grade, wheat-free pupcake fillings, frostings and toppings, according to what you know your dog will love! Jens beautiful dog Feebie was by her side whilst Jen created the most delicious pupcake combinations.
The Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar Tel Aviv was born and Jen has instilled the love, joy and celebration for furfamilies all over Israel with her creations.
Jen inspired the concept of the Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar to give the opportunity to other entrepreneurs in South Africa to also manage their own Pupcake Bar and spread the love and joy these delicious treats bring.
Who are the lovely ladies behind the Mimi & Munch Pupcake Bar SA?
Nicole, Nadine and Nina are pioneering the pupcake industry in South Africa, crafting the most delicious creations for your furbabies so that they can enjoy them in both Cape Town, Potsch and Centurion too!
Introducing Nina:
The lovely Nina adopted Ruby from the Staffie Rescue in Cape Town, in January 2020. As soon as the national lock down hit, she was overwhelmed with a seriously active puppy. Ruby was frustrated with not being allowed to walk or run due to the restrictions.
Nina did a lot of research and made different enrichment activities for her, and made a variety of frozen stuffed toys, served as meals. This sparked the idea to make beautiful pupsicles!
Through Pupsicle and the amazing Instagram dog community, Nina met Jade which is when Jade approached Nina to open The Pupcake Bar in CT underneath the Mimi & Munch brand. Nina and Jade believe in only natural, fresh, healthy and creative foods for animals.
Nina currently runs both Pupsicle & The Pupcake Bar from her home and is in the process of building relationships with people and their shops to stock her products.
Introducing Nicole:
The kindest soul, Nicole is a qualified primary school teacher. The Pupcake Bar Potchefstroom is her newest endeavour and she couldn't be more excited! "I have always been categorised as an "over the top" pawrent, and to be honest, I LOVE it! I seriously cannot wait to bake for your furbabies. They all deserve to be spoiled rotten, no matter the occasion."
Nicole has three of her own precious rescues. Gus is the grumpiest black Labrador x Shar Pei, Ellie is a stubborn Ridgeback x Weimaraner and Ruger is our feisty Bengal x kitten. "I live for my furbabies and I cannot imagine a day without them! This deep love is where my passion for all natural treats and eats comes in. My pets are ALL raw fed and the Mimi & Munch brand slotted in perfectly to their diet! Mimi & Munch has been part of every Woofday, spoiling not only my furbabies but their buddies at doggy daycare too. Every product is made with so much love and care, and I am so excited to bring the same joy to your family as was brought to mine."
The beautiful Nadine joined the team in 2021 and has grown in leaps and bounds! Nads has two of most special furbabies by her side. Nads writes: 'Literally ALWAYS by my side
